Abstract
Large mammals are a critical component of tropical ecosystems, especially for the tropics (Terborgh 1988, Cardillo et al. 2005). Nevertheless, is not until recently that with the emergence and widespread use of non-invasive techniques such as camera-traps, that we are getting a large amount of
information on medium and large-size mammal assemblages.
