Resumen
La rata espinosa arborícola colombiana Pattonomys semivillosus (Geoffroy 1838) es un roedor echímido endémico de Colombia, que se distribuye por el drenaje inferior del río Magdalena en el noreste de Colombia en elevaciones de 0 hasta los 600 msnm en los departamentos de Bolívar, Cesar y Magdalena. En esta nota se reportan nuevos aspectos relacionados con su distribución e historia natural.
