Abstract

The Colombian arboreal spiny rat Pattonomys semivillosus (Geoffroy 1838) is an endemic echimid rodent from Colombia, which is distributed through the lower drainage of the Magdalena River in northeastern Colombia at elevations from 0 to 600 meters above sea level in the departments of Bolívar, Cesar and Cupcake In this note, new aspects related to its distribution and natural history are reported.
