Abstract
On May 29, 2003 at 6:45 p.m. a male from Carollia Sowelli was captured in Tortuguero National Park (10 ° 25ʼ24ˮN, 83 ° 29ʼ48ˮW) that had the end of the right wing white (approximately half of the membrane area between fingers III and IV). Could not take pictures of this individual before releasing. On April 20, 2017 at 8:58 p.m., a female of Carollia perspicillata with white spots was captured in the Barbilla National Park (9 ° 56ʼ31ˮN, 83 ° 25ʼ12ˮW; Figure 1). The most prominent spots were found under the left ear and the right shoulder. Other less noticeable spots were found behind the right ear and near the left armpit.
