Program of: II COLOMBIAN CONGRESS AND III LATIN AMERICAN CONGRESS OF MASTOZOOLOGY

Abstract

It is a pleasure for the editorial committee and scientific committee to present the reports and book of abstracts of our II Colombian Congress and III Latin American Congress of Mastozoology, held in the city of Bogotá, Colombia, at the facilities of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, Macarena Headquarters, between December 1 and 5, 2015. This event represents a significant advance and a natural product of the growth and natural development of our mammalogy discipline both nationally and in Latin America, which also shows the strong growth and advancement of the science of our region. With more than 400 oral presentations and posters, from more than 16 countries and nearly 600 participants, this Congress becomes the maximum event of mastozoology in the country and a very significant contribution to Latin American mastozoology.
